Luisa Rizzo holds Post Graduate Diploma (International Policy and Economic Studies) and MSc Degree in Political Science (EU and International Policy). She is a full-time WYG Consulting employee working as a Head of International Development. Ms Rizzo is a highly experienced expert with over 30 years of professional experience in programming, coordination and monitoring of aid development assistance provided by bilateral and multi-lateral donors and IFIs, prominently including the European Union (EU). Ms Rizzo brings over 30 years of rich professional experience in EU funds utilisation (i.e. assistance programme design, programme implementation) in EU Member States and IPA countries.

As an experienced Team Leader of 5 subsequent PPF projects in Albania with overall 7 years duration, Team Leader of PPF in Kosovo and KE position on PPF7 project leading the TA team for IPA programming in Serbia and BiH and through positions held at the EU Delegations to Albania and North Macedonia for over 9 years, she has gained significant experience in policy and technical advice to national authorities on sectoral policies and strategies, planning programming of EU funds and in delivering on the job training, mentoring and coaching.

Ms Rizzo has accumulated more than 18 years of experience in providing strategic technical advice and capacity building to the NIPAC in performing its role. Her commitment to capacity building is underscored by over 20 years of delivering on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching to civil servants in relation to EU programming and project preparation. Ms Rizzo has also designed, delivered and coordinated training programs for civil servants on IPA related topics.
