Jelena Kljaić Šebrek has more than 10 years of general working experience. She has been working as a project manager of grant projects in the field of local development, employment and social inclusion of disabled groups where she was responsible for the coordination of the project teams, monitoring and evaluation of project activities and procurement processes. Jelena has in depth understanding of the EU funds management system of management and control as she worked as a grant project manager within the Central financing and contracting agency (CFCA) with a portfolio of more than 20 projects and several grant schemes (SME development, Business related infrastructure, Research and innovation). At this job, she participated in the evaluation of the project proposals and was responsible for the monitoring of the project implementation, verification of project expenditures and monitoring and control of the procurement procedures carried by the project beneficiaries. Jelena is a certified public procurement expert and holds a PhD in the field of quantitative economics.
