The project “Evaluation services of the Interreg VI-A IPA Programme Croatia–Serbia (2021–2027)” demonstrates WYG’s experience in evaluating EU-funded cross-border cooperation programmes and supporting evidence-based programme improvement. The assignment focuses on the operational evaluation of a €45 million Interreg programme, assessing its effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, coherence, and EU added value. It covers both current programme implementation and the results and legacy of projects from the 2014–2020 period, ensuring continuity and alignment with programme objectives. WYG applies a mixed-methods approach, combining desk research, data analysis, stakeholder consultations, surveys, and case studies, with particular focus on programme governance, implementation systems, and communication effectiveness. The evaluation results in practical recommendations to address bottlenecks, enhance performance, and strengthen the impact of future cross-border cooperation initiatives, supported by standard deliverables including inception, draft, and final reports.
