The project “EU Support for the Republic of Serbia to Effectively Implement Cohesion Policy” reflects WYG’s involvement in establishing core systems for EU Cohesion Policy management in a candidate country.
The assignment supports Serbian institutions in building a functional management and control system for Cohesion Policy funds, in line with Chapter 22 requirements. WYG contributes to the development of organisational structures, procedures, and Common National Rules, as well as preparation of key elements such as e-Cohesion system documentation and negotiation inputs.
In parallel, the project supports programming and pipeline development for the post-2027 period, including preparation of operational documents, project fiches, and methodological frameworks aligned with new EU regulations. A strong focus is also placed on capacity building, through revision and delivery of training programmes, development of training materials, and support to institutional and partner readiness.
Overall, the assignment combines system-building, programming support, and capacity development, contributing to Serbia’s preparedness for managing EU Cohesion Policy funds upon accession.
