Energy 3, a renewable energy enterprise headquartered in Mostar, undertook a project to design wind power parks at two separate locations in Herzegovina. WYG was hired to help them bring these projects in line with international investor and lender standards and to perform additional environmental assessment.
WYG assembled a team of experts to perform comprehensive environmental and social impact assessments of these two wind power projects, taking into account a wide range of factors including local wildlife, water quality, landscape, socio-economic impact, and worker health and safety. The project concluded with the delivery of a full gap analysis report, including an environmental and social mitigation plan and a timeline for project implementation with cost estimates.
