The project “Conducting research on the application of digital technology” demonstrates WYG’s capacity to deliver large-scale, multidisciplinary research supporting digital transformation in higher education. The assignment, implemented under the national e-University initiative, assesses the impact of digital investments on institutions, teaching processes, and different user groups, including management, teachers, students, and support staff. It examines changes in digital competences, organisational practices, and the overall functioning of higher education institutions. WYG applied a comprehensive scientific research approach, including development of research methodology and tools, extensive data collection (quantitative and qualitative), and advanced analysis. The project resulted in in-depth research outputs and evidence-based recommendations, supporting future policy design, sustainability measures, and further digitalisation of the education system.
