WYG Consulting (Lead) and Cooperazione Trentina (FTC), have been contracted by the European Investment Bank (EIB) to deliver Technical Assistance for the project “Social Housing for Internally Displaced People in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.” This 14-month, €691,400 assignment supports one of the most significant social housing initiatives in the region, aimed at providing permanent, affordable housing for people displaced during the conflicts of the 1990s, as well as other socially vulnerable groups. The project envisions the development of approximately 1,200 housing units and related infrastructure, based on a non-profit social housing model intended for displaced persons, returnees, and individuals in need.
Key activities include:

▪️ Site surveys across 37 municipalities and preparation of project descriptions
▪️ Environmental risk assessment
▪️ Preparation of project fiches
▪️ Verification of existing designs and development of detailed designs for the Pilot Phase
▪️ Institutional capacity assessment
▪️ Development of the project implementation plan
▪️ Financial analysis and risk assessment
This project directly supports social inclusion, housing stability, and long-term resilience for vulnerable communities across the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
