WYG Consulting has been awarded an important project under the FWC SEA 2023 framework, Lot 4 Sustainable Transport, Infrastructures, Green Cities, Connectivity: “Support to the EU-Egypt Water Partnership Joint Declaration.” This project, implemented in collaboration with NTU Consortium, will span 24 months in Egypt.
This initiative is integral to the EU-Egypt Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership, focusing on sustainable water management, technical capacity building, and private sector investment. The project aims to enhance policy dialogue between Egypt and the EU, support the development of regulatory frameworks for water governance, and strengthen institutional capacities. It will promote the adoption of innovative water technologies, improve investment opportunities in the water sector, and foster private sector engagement. Additionally, the project will ensure effective coordination among stakeholders and establish mechanisms for monitoring progress and policy implementation. By fostering cooperation, enhancing technical expertise, and supporting governance structures, this project will contribute to Egypt’s sustainable development goals in water and sanitation, ultimately improving water security and resilience in the country.
